Pool Kings is a new venue in Kirkby, created to provide the local community with a place to enjoy playing precision sports in a modern environment with professional standard tables and equipment.
Our venue has 4 professional standard pool tables, a full-size snooker table and a dart board, a licenced bar and a great atmosphere, giving visitors a place to socialise, practice their skills and have some fun.
We're not the biggest pool club, we don't take things too seriously and we don't mind what rules you play but we give a huge welcome to everyone and want everybody to enjoy themselves when they visit.
Opened the end of October 2023, after 7 months of hard work, the venue had gone through a complete transformation to bring it back to life.
Having stood empty for two decades, the building that was once known as The Rainbow Lounge has been completely refurbished and repurposed.
What used to be a popular spot for family gatherings has been transformed into a welcoming venue for pool and snooker enthusiasts, offering a place to play on top class tables and connect with friends.

As well as providing precision sports, the Pool King venue can be used for more than just playing pool and snooker, it can also be used to host parties, events and family gatherings.
Our flexible venue layout allows for the repositioning of pool tables to accommodate your event's needs. Whether you're looking to set up a DJ, dance floor, and buffet, or require extra seating for a presentation, we can tailor our space to suit your requirements.
Since opening we have hosted some great events and parties, one of the most memorable was a charity event with world champion snooker player Jimmy White – yes Jimmy White visited Pool Kings and loved our tables!
